Archipelago house in the heart of nature

Having a house that blends into the environment is very important to Christina and Peter, who built a log house in the Stockholm archipelago. Thanks to Pine Tar Vitriol, they have a house that is perfect for the lovely natural site with its rocks, pines and oak trees, and its close proximity to the water.

Christina and Peter’s log cabin was completed in June 2016. They continually receive positive feedback from neighbours, tradesmen, friends and other visitors. Everyone comments on the house’s design, location and not least the grey colour that blends in with the beautiful archipelago environment. The main reason why Christina and Peter chose to paint using Pine Tar Vitriol is that it protects the house façade, which means that it requires less maintenance – and the lovely smell is a bonus!
